According to BBC News, Cerf warned of a “digital Dark Age” — a future in which there will be little record of the 21st century.

“Old formats of documents that we’ve created or presentations may not be readable by the latest version of the software because backwards compatibility is not always guaranteed,” he told BBC News.

New York City and Philadelphia remained under winter weather advisories while Boston, which has already experienced a historic total of almost eight feet of snow this season, could get another foot. Parts of Massachusetts were forecasted to receive 18 inches, and Cape Cod could experience hurricane-force wind gusts.

The bottom line is, stay inside with your Valentine and don’t poke your head out until April. And if you’re single, you have a perfect excuse to do absolutely nothing.

Free Speech Debate ‘Still Alive’ After Attack in Denmark

As gunfire erupted outside a Copenhagen cultural center on Saturday afternoon, French ambassador François Zimeray tweeted that message to the world.

The message conveys some of the terror that Zimeray and other participants in a panel discussion on freedom of speech must have felt. But the presence of mind that it took to send contains an even more chilling suggestion: no longer are such violent crimes unexpected.

Although Danish authorities have not detained the perpetrator or established his motives, all evidence suggests that the Feb. 14th attack, like that at the Parisian satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, and like several attempted attacks in Denmark before that, was motivated by cartoons of the prophet Mohammed.

Soon after 3:30 p.m., a gunman (authorities originally said there were two, but later revised the figure) wearing a maroon baklava and armed with an automatic weapon tried to shoot his…

freedom from facebook

Posted on Updated on

I took some time off from facebook, it felt like freedom, freedom from drama which can be addicting. Freedom from reading the anger read in people who read the posts wrongly or misjudge posts that are not written towards them. Facebook can be a poison that festers, it causes a person to read things in another’s posts that may not be written in the way they are being read.It is not for the blunt or the tactless it is not for those who could care less if you exist.I never took it too seriously but have found that some do. I understand why some people clean out their friends list but have not understood how people can toss people aside like they were nothing. Facebook is a place where you don’t know what the person looks like even if you have known them years past. What you read and what is posted creates images of people in your mind then when they are there before you they are not as you thought they would be.It is a place of imagery. Not much different than television which desensitizes people from compassion of others. After all who can see you when you hurt and you can’t see who you hurt, it is plastic that separates people . I have found more time with my family and outside with my dog , I have found that I have through some posts had hurt others and had not known that. I can say I miss people in general and am grateful that I don’t have internet so it gives me an excuse to go into town to a place where people are where I can get on the internet.I have found that I like talking to people more than writing to them who I can’t see their smiles or even frowns and I prefer to see their faces when i hurt them so I can say I am sorry and make things right.

Why is it when we ask for help it is hard to find someone who will encourage or pray but sometimes you will find that one person who will go before the LORD for you when you just don’t have the strength to do so.
I am grateful for those people who will see beyond my faults and look inside to know I have weaknesses and know I need strength from prayer.
The Word of God says we are to pray for one another and laugh with each other even cray for each other. Sad thing is that I have seen mean and women who profess to be Christians attack others instead of approaching the people they attack . [ Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks] .Renew our minds daily we need some different thoughts inside so what comes out of our mouths are not so cruel.

1 JOHN 2:9 ANYONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE IN THE LIGHT BUT HATES A BROTHER OR SISTER IS STILL IN THE DARKNESS.2:10 ANYONE WHO LOVES THEIR BROTHER AND SISTER LIVES IN THE LIGHT AND THERE IS NOTHING IN THEM TO MAKE THEM STUMBLE.2:11 BUT ANYONE WHO HATES A BROTHER OR SISTER IS IN THE DARKNESS AND WALKS AROUND IN THE DARKNESS ,THEY DO NOT KNOW WHERE THEY ARE GOING , BECAUSE THE DARKNESS HAS BLINDED THEM.

How scary is the last part where it says they don’t know where they are going if they hate their brothers and sisters[in the LORD]. Lately I have seen people who are well seasoned in the Bible hold things against others, all is well with them yet they have ought and not love , they don’t realize that there is no love. Makes me think of the scriptures I cast out demons in YOUR NAME I prophesied in YOUR NAME…. and JESUS said ‘depart from ME, I never knew you.’ God only knows those who love HiM AND JESUS. It also says that those who obey HIS commands love HIM and those who love HIM will have the HOLY SPIRIT. It all comes together. I need to do this as well…. Lord bless you this beautiful day …blessings in YESHUA
